WALNUT WOOD

Walnut is historically one of the better woods for furniture and paneling. For pens, it is both brittle and light. However, the burl-wood from walnut stock can be spectacular. Sadly, pictures do not do this wood justice. You really have to hold it to appreciate it.

Above you will find a walnut slimline pencil, which uses .7mm leads. This is a piece of walnut with straight grain and a lighter-chocolate coloring.
